Our Origin Story

We started in a tiny garage in South Riding back in 2013. Verity was born out of a passion for helping people improve their health and fitness for life through the power of functional CrossFit training.

Our Programs

You are never too young, old, or out of shape to start. No CrossFit experience is required, but if you have never been in a gym before, we recommend starting with our Origins Program.


Origins is our entry level course, perfect for anyone looking to drop a few pounds and learn their way around a barbell. Origins combines private coaching and accountability with our group classes, to give you all the tools you need to get healthy and build a foundation of strength & conditioning. This 4-week course is built to teach beginners to be virtuous in movement, to bring the intensity, to handle their nutrition, and to get in great shape!


Our general physical preparedness program or “GPP” will give you everything you need to feel better, look better, and improve your health. This is our core strength & conditioning program that delivers a fitness that is by design, broad, general, and inclusive no matter the skill level. In class you learn functional movements that you find in real life…pushing, pulling, squatting, jumping, throwing, carrying, and sprinting.


Our nutrition coaching program is for those of us who are looking to drop some extra body fat and tone up. Nutrition is included with and compliments Origins, but we do offer to coach a la carte. Adherence is key to success with any nutrition program. Once you have made the commitment to get your nutrition on track, we can help you take it to the next level. You will get personalized macronutrient and calorie-based meal plans, as well as weekly weigh-ins.
